What to Expect
Compass OT uses a specialist, person-centred, Occupational Therapy assessment that looks at the whole person — not just a diagnosis or condition
We take time to understand how your illness, injury or health condition(s) affects your:
- daily routines and daily life
- roles, interests, relationships
- emotional wellbeing and sense of self
Occupational Therapy (OT) can support you to take part in the activities that are important to you by building skills, confidence and supportive environments. We also recognise that wellbeing is often strengthened through connection with others, including family, carers, friends and the wider community.
3. Practical, Personalised Advice and Rehabilitation
Compass OT focuses on what you need and want to do in everyday life. We take time to understand your specific difficulties, your goals, and the activities that matter most to you.
Together, we will create a practical and realistic plan that is personal to you. This may include clear advice, rehabilitation, equipment recommendations, environmental changes or everyday strategies to help you manage activities that may have become more difficult.
Our aim is to support you to feel safer, more confident and more independent in daily life, while improving your wellbeing and helping you live as well as possible.
4.Ongoing Support
Compass OT provides ongoing support that is shaped around your goals, your priorities and what matters most to you. Rehabilitation is guided by your individual needs and delivered at a pace that feels right for you.
Support may include reviewing progress, adapting strategies, building confidence, and helping you continue to manage everyday activities as your needs change. The aim is to help you feel supported, motivated and more confident in daily life.
